Biography
Patrick Kelly graduated with a B.Sc. (Civil Engineering) at the University of Witwatersrand in 1976, a MBA from the same institution in 1984 and a M.Eng. (Civil) in 1989 from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He is registered as a professional engineer in the province of Ontario, and is a LEED® Accredited Professional. Currently he is the Masonry Systems Manager at Hanson Brick.
Patrick has been involved in the building and construction industry for over thirty years, the last fifteen years specifically in the field of masonry.
Patrick grew up and worked for most of his life in South Africa where he served as the Director of the Concrete Masonry Association.
Hanson PLC supplies heavy building materials to the public and private construction sectors in North America, the United Kingdom, Asia Pacific and Continental Europe. Hanson supplies a range of heavy building materials in two main categories: Aggregates, which includes aggregates, asphalt, ready-mixed concrete, cement and ground granulated blast furnace slag, and Building products, which includes bricks, concrete roof tiles, concrete products, concrete pipes, precast concrete structures and other building products. The end use of the Company's products and services are categorized into residential, infrastructure, and industrial and commercial construction applications.
