Each site is unique and many factors must be considered when securing it, including the hazards present, size of the site, and the proximity of the surrounding community. The movement of people and equipment at the site must be carefully managed to minimize worker exposure and protect the public from hazards. This course describes practices and procedures for establishing and maintaining control of the site.
