This course provides background information about the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and its regulatory standards and enforcement activities related to workers' rights, employers' responsibilities, workplace inspections, citations, violations, and penalties. This course also provides insights into the origins of OSHA and an overview of safety and health regulations and policies intended to help employers protect their employees from hazards that can cause serious or fatal injuries and illnesses.
